4. QUENCHING
PRE-TRANSFER LAMP REPLACEMENT

1. Turn off the main switch and unplug the copier.
2. Remove the following parts:
a) development unit
b) charge corona unit
c) drum stay
d) cleaning unit
e) drum flange
f) drum
g) main PCB.
3. Remove the paper feed solenoid assembly [A] (2 screws), and loosen
the main motor assembly [B] (4 screws) and the pulse generator bracket
[C] (1 screw).
Remove the registration clutch stopper bracket [D] (1 screw), and the

registration clutch [E] (1 "E" ring).
