9. COPY IMAGE
9-1 LIGHT INTENSITY ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: Original ID sensor adjustment must be made after making the light
intensity adjustment.
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD:
Clean the optics.

Turn on the main switch.

Set the image density level at the No. 2 position and make a few copies
of the OS-A4 test chart [A].

Confirm that the level 2 of the grey scale is just visible. If the image den-
sity is not correct, proceed to steps 5 to 10.
Level 2 of the grey scale on the OS-A4 chart
should be just visible on the copy, when the
no.2 position (second notch from the dark-
est side) of the manual density control is
selected.
