THERMOSWITCH REPLACEMENT

Turn off the main switch and unplug the copier.

Remove the fusing cover (see 6-2 Oil Supply Pad Replacement), and the
left inner cover (3 screws).
Disconnect the thermoswitch terminal [A] from the lamp control PCB [B]
and release the harness from the 2 wire clamps.
Remove the rear cover and left covers, and un-couple the rear fusing

lamp connector [C] and release the harness from the wire clamp.
Place a sheet of paper [D] over the top of the hot roller.

Remove the stripper pawl setting plate [E] (2 screws), taking care that it
does not drop and damage the fusing rollers.
Remove the thermoswitch [F] (1 screw), taking care not to damage the
hot roller.
Replace the fusing thermoswitch, making sure that the harness i s

correctly run over the exhaust blower bracket.
NOTE: Take care not to bend the thermoswitch during this procedure.
