Handling the Drum
Never touch the drum surface with your bare hands.
Store the drum in a cool dry place away from heat.
When cleaning the drum, always use a pair of gloves. Do not throw
away cotton used for cleaning. Bring it back to the service depot for dis-
posal according to local regulations.
Always prime the drum with setting powder after cleaning the drum, and
when installing a new drum.

To protect the drum, always apply setting powder to a new
blade and new cleaning brush before installing them.

Before inserting or pulling out the drum, the cleaning unit
development unit should be removed to avoid drum damage.

Send used drums to the distributor according to standard procedure.
Paper Feed
1. Grease the following parts with Mobil Temp. 78 periodically to avoid
noise and poor operation:
a) Slip clutch assembly
b) Paper feed clutch
