6-6 HOT ROLLER
Turn off the main switch and unplug the copier.

Remove the fusing thermistor assembly (see 6-4 Fusing Thermistor

Replacement), and the rear cover (2 screws).

Un-couple the rear fusing lamp connector [A] and remove the holder [B]
(1 screw).
Disconnect the fusing lamp terminal [C] from the lamp control PCB [D]

and release the harness from the wire clamp.

Remove the front fusing lamp holder [E] (1 screw), and pull out the
fusing lamp [F].
Do not touch the surface of the fusing lamp with your bare hands.
Hold the lamp terminals at all times.
6. Place a screw in the front and rear un-tapped holes [G] (see illustration),
and remove the pressure springs [H].
NOTE: This is to hold the pressure roller when releasing the pressure
springs, as the roller drops and could be damaged.
