2. Insert shimming gauge (3) into gearcase (25/30 gauge:

346-72250-0, 40 gauge: 3C8-72250-0).
Correct positioning of the shimming gauge in the
gearcase is critical, Make sure tapered side (4) is fully
seated I'n bevel gearA bearing outer race with ilat side
(5) and notch (6) facing upward.
