DTC P0713 [SJ6A-EL]
DTC P0713 Transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor circuit malfunction (short to power/open circuit)
DETECTION
CONDITION
POSSIBLE CAUSE
If the TCM detects the following condition for 1 s or more, the TCM determines that the TFT
sensor circuit has a malfunction.
Engine warmed-up
ATF temperature less than –43 °C {–45.4 °F}
Diagnostic support note:
The MIL illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during first drive cycle.
A PENDING CODE is not available.
FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
The AT warning light illuminates.
The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.
Open circuit in wiring harness between TFT sensor and TCM terminal 1J
Open circuit in wiring harness between TFT sensor and TCM terminal 1M
TCM connector or terminal malfunction
Couple component connector or terminal malfunction
TFT sensor malfunction
TCM malfunction
