Diagnostic procedure
STEP INSPECTION
INSPECT DSC HU/CM TO DSC OFF
1 SWITCH FOR SHORT TO GROUND
Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect DSC HU/CM and
DSC OFF switch connector.
Inspect for continuity
between the DSC HU/CM
terminal P and ground.
Is there continuity?
INSPECT DSC OFF SWITCH

Inspect the DSC OFF switch.
(See DSC OFF SWITCH
INSPECTION.)
Is the DSC OFF switch
normal?
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING

COMPLETED
Make sure to reconnect all
disconnected connectors.
Clear the DTC from the
memory.

Is the same DTC present?

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
