Designated Color Selection

(Selecting the Desired Color in an Original Using the Edit Pen)
Use the edit pen to designate a color on the original or a color on the color
designation sheet.
The following procedure is performed in the color selection screen for each
function.
1.
Place the original face up on the Editor, aligning the
original with the V mark.
Specifying a color from another sheet
Place the color designation sheet
along the left edge of the original
and then use the edit pen to press
on one point of the color to be
designated. When making a copy,
the original and the color
designation sheet are copied
together as a single original.
Without reversing the top-bottom
orientation of the color designation
sheet and the original, turn both of them face down and place them
on the platen glass. (On the platen glass, the original is on the left
and the color designation sheet is on the right.) Also, select the
copy paper size in accordance with the size of the original.
2.
Press the DESIGNATED COLOR key.
