3. Explanation of Operation Procedure
Function explanation
Explains the operation procedure. The right side of each page is the explanation of the operation procedure, and the left side
is additional explanations for each operation procedure.
Mirror Image (Making Copies as a Mirror Image)
For details on how to programme the basic copy
This mode makes copies of the mirror image of an original. There are three
settings, see p. 2-4 of chapter 2 "Basic Copying" in
types of Mirror Image functions.

Mirror Symmetry:
The original image is copied as a mirror image.
If the copier is not equipped with the ED board,

The image is flipped up with the top edge of the

Press the MIRROR IMAGE key.
If the C key is pressed, the screen returns to
the display in step 1.

Select the Mirror Image type.
Other Image Creation modes can also be set.

Press the OK key.

Press the OK key.
The Image Creation setting process is complete.
MIRROR IMAGE
is displayed.
The copier is now ready to make copies.
A small white gap will appear between the true
image and the flipped image.
Top Symmetry (Bottom Symmetry) is effective
when there is an image in the top half (bottom half
for Bottom Symmetry) of the original. An image in
the bottom half (top half for Bottom Symmetry)
cannot be copied.

When an area is designated, the image will be
cut off if the area covers more than half of the
paper.
