Color Registration (Registering a Color of Your Choice in Memory)

For details on how to program the basic copy
settings, see p. 2-4 of chapter 2 "Basic Copying" in
the Basic Operations Manual.
For details on Color Selection Flow, see "Color
Selection Flow (Selecting Colors within Settings for
Each Function)," on p. 1-63.
If the C key is pressed, the screen returns to
the standard display.
If the C key is pressed, the screen returns to
the display in step 1.
Keys which already have a color stored under
them are highlighted.
This mode permits registration of up to eight original colors. You can
assign names to these colors consisting of no more than five alphanumeric
characters. Registered colors can be recalled by pressing
REGISTERED COLOR in the Color Selection Flow.
Registering colors
1.
Color
Press the
Creation
key.
2.
Press the REGISTER COLOR key.
If necessary, assign a name to the color to be registered. (See p. 1-62.)
3.
Press the numeric key where the color is to be
registered.
Select a key from 1 to 8 .
