The CONTOUR key and the
IMAGE & SHADOW key can also be pressed to
continue the setting process.
If the SHADOW ONLY key is pressed, the
Color For Text setting is canceled.
When the original color is set in the Contour or
the Image & Shadow mode after setting it in the
Color for Text mode, the color setting in the Color
for Text will be canceled. When colors other than
the original color are set in the Contour or Image &
Shadow mode after setting these in the Color for
Text mode, these settings in the Color for Text will
also be canceled.
If the copier is not equipped with the Editor, the
color wheel screen is immediately displayed when
selecting a color.
Other Image Creation modes can also be set.
If the contours are not distinct because the
original is faint or contains gradations, the contours
may not be reproduced on the copy.

Select the color.
There are five methods for selecting a color.
Select a color from the color palette.

Select a color from the original.
(Designated Color Selection) (See p. 1-67.)
Select a color that was previously registered.
(Registered Color Selection) (See p. 1-69.)
Select a color from the color wheel.
(Color Wheel Selection) (See p. 1-70.)
Select the color of the original as it is.
(Original Color Selection) (See p. 1-71.)
Once a color is selected, Color For Text is set.

Press the OK key.
The Text Editing settings are complete.
6.
Press the OK key.
The Image Creation setting process is complete.
TEXT EDITING
is displayed.
The copier is now ready to make copies.
