The shadow is added at an angle below and to
the left of the image. To add the shadow at an angle
below and to the right of the image, rotate the
original 90 in the counterclockwize direction when
placing it on the platen glass.
When the original color is set in the Color for
Text or Contour mode after setting it in the Image &
Shadow mode, the coloring setting in the Image &
Shadow mode will be canceled.
When colors other than the original color are set in
the Color for Text or the Contour mode after setting
these in the Image & Shadow mode, these settings
in the Image & Shadow mode will also be canceled.
You can continue setting other Image Creation
modes.
The Shadow Length can be changed by
changing the Custom Settings. (See p. 7-7 in the
Basic Operations Manual.)
Shadow length:
[0.25 mm] [0.5 mm]
[0.75 mm] [1.0 mm]
[1.25 mm] [1.5 mm]*

Select the shadow type.
3-D SHADOW :
Adds a three-dimensional shadow to the image
FLAT SHADOW : Adds a flat shadow to the background of the image
Specifying the shadow color
1. Press the SHADOW COLOR key.
2. Select the color.
There are five methods for selecting a color.
Select a color from the color palette.
(Color Palette Selection) (See p. 1-65.)
Select a color from the original.
(Designated Color Selection) (See p. 1-67.)
Select a color that was previously registered.
(Registered Color Selection) (See p. 1-69.)
Select a color from the color wheel.
(Color Wheel Selection) (See p. 1-70.)
Select the color of the original as it is.
(Original Color Selection) (See p. 1-71.)
Once a color is selected, the Shadow Color is set.
5.
Press the OK key.
The Text Editing settings are complete.
6.
Press the OK key.
The Image Creation setting process is complete.
TEXT EDITING
is displayed.
The copier is now ready to make copies.
