Area Designation Restrictions

When Designated Areas Overlap
If designated areas overlap, the editing function programmed last has
priority as the setting for the overlapping portion of the areas.
If an editing function was programmed for the entire copy while an area
designation was already in place, the area designation always takes
priority, regardless of the order in which the editing function settings were
made.
If Framing and Blanking area overlap
The Area Designation with the larger number receives priority.

If areas with the same editing function settings overlap
The editing is performed for all of the designated areas, including the
overlapping area.
If areas with different editing function settings overlap
The overlapping area is edited with the larger Area Designation number
determining the priority.

The area editing always has priority, regardless of the sequence in
which they were set.
