When designating a free-hand area or an area
by tracing, points are counted automatically. Areas
requiring 4,000 or more points can not be
recognized. Once 4,000 points have been counted
for an area, that area is no longer recognized.
When drawing areas, the starting point and
ending point should be the same point.
The trace width can be changed as desired
between 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, and 4 mm. (See
p. 7-4 in the Basic Operations Manual.)
When using Coloring, designate a point inside
the enclosed area. If you designate a point on the
line of the enclosed area, Coloring may not be
performed properly.
When designating an enclosed area, make sure
that the border of the image is not broken. Note that
even the borders of originals that are not broken
may become so if the image overlaps the border
when it is enlarged.
