Press the SCAN key.
After the text is scanned, the following screen is displayed.

Place the background color original on the platen glass.
Align the background color original with the V mark on the platen glass.

Press the OK key.
The Character Composition setting process is complete.
CHARACTER COMPOSITION is displayed.
The copier is now ready to make copies.
The window's location and size can be
corrected. (See p. 4-34.)
