To set up Version 3 (optional):
10. In the SNMP Version 3 section, check the Enable SNMP Version 3 box. This is the SNMP
version of the protocol to be used in communicating with the SNMP agents on the server.
If you decide to use SNMP Version 3, the system provides three levels of security.
The user name with no password provides the same level of security as SNMP
Version 1 and Version 2c.
The Authentication Password field provides an enhanced level of security.
The Privacy Password provides an additional level of security.
11. In the User Name field, type the user name for this community or user.
The user can query only for information.
Your entry must be in any alphanumeric format and up to 50 characters in length.
12. (Optional) In the Authentication Password field, type the security password.

The system displays a message confirming that the changes have been successfully made.

Displaying the MIB Reference Document
The Management Information Base (MIB) reference document lists the details of
Communication Manager data for SNMP management. The MIB can be used to interpret SNMP
data that is supported by the Communication Manager SNMP Agent. The MIB is most useful
when installed on your SNMP trap receiver to translate any SNMP traps received from
Communication Manager.
