Administering SNMP Trap Filters
Use the Filters page to specify the severity level, alarm category, and maintenance object
information for the SNMP agent. In CM 3.1, filters only apply to CM alarms. Server alarms
cannot be filtered.

If you have Fault and Performance Manager (FPM), then create the filters using

Adding trap filters
To add a trap filter:
1. On the Maintenance Web Pages home page, under Alarms, click Filters.
The system displays the Filters page.

The Filters section of the screen displays Severity, Category, MO Type, and MO Location for
filters that have already been configured. In this example, no filters are currently configured.
The Customer Alarm Reporting Options section allows you to specify the Communication
Manager alarms to be sent: Major and Minor only, or all CM alarms.
