MATH is an alias for FUNCtion. The :WAVeform:SOURce? Query returns FUNC if the source
N O T E
is FUNCtion or MATH.

<source> ::= {CHAN<n> | POD{1 | 2} | BUS{1 | 2} | FUNC
<n> ::= 1 to (# analog channels) in NR1 format
