Disk Module Carrier Removal/Replacement

If the disk module carrier has been damaged, it can be replaced without replacing the disk
drive inside. If the damage to the carrier is a result of dropping it, the disk drive inside may
be damaged as well. Disk carriers must be replaced by a trained service representative
only.

Disks are fragile and should be handled carefully

If the disk is still in the disk enclosure, remove the disk module. See
Module or Filler Module" on page
