If the disk module you are installing has been removed from another Disk Array
Note
FC60, you should ensure that the module has a status of Unassigned. This is
done by deleting the volume group the disk module was a part of in the original
disk array. See
1.
Remove the replacement disk from its ESD bag, being careful to grasp the disk by its
handle (A in
Figure
2.
Pull the cam latch (B) away from the disk module.
3.
Mark the slot number that the disk is being installed into on the Slot Location Map on
the top of the disk module. See
the correct slot.

Use both hands to hold the disk — one on the handle and the other on the

Slide the disk module into the slot with capacity label up (C in
