11. Connect the SCSI cable to the BCC connector.
12. Connect the other end of the SCSI cable to the controller enclosure SCSI connector.
13. Disconnect all disk modules from the disk enclosure backplane connectors by releasing
the locking levers and pulling each module out approximately one inch. This step is
required to ensure the disk modules return to normal operation.
14. Power up the disk enclosure.
15. Observe the BCC Fault LED. See
If the LED remains on and a buzzer sounds, the switch settings do not match the peer's.
For other solutions to a BCC fault, refer to chapter 6, Troubleshooting.
If the BCC Fault LED is on and the BCC or SCSI cable is not correctly seated,

prior to attempting to reseat it, power off the disk enclosure, reseat the
component, then power up the disk enclosure.
16. Reseat the disk modules one at a time:
a. Push the disk module in slot 0 into slot until it snaps into place.
b. Check the Disk Fault LED, it should go on. When the Disk Fault LED goes out, insert
the next disk module.
c. Repeat the above steps until all disk modules are reseated.
