Event Selection
Event Types can be divided into three basic groups: System Events, PoE Events, and Port Events. System Events are related to
the overall function of the switch, whereas Port Events are related to the activity of specific ports.
System Event
Device Cold Start
Device Warm Start
Power 1 Failure
Power 2 Failure
Authentication failure
Time Synchronize Failure
Fault Relay
Super Ring Topology
Changes
Port Event

Warning Event is sent when....
Power is cut off and then reconnected.
Reboot the device by CLI or Web UI.
Select the Power 1 Failure event if you want the RocketLinx
ES7506 to send notification of a PW1 failure.
Select the Power 2 Failure event if you want the RocketLinx
ES7506 to send notification of a PW2 failure.
An incorrect password, SNMP Community String is entered.
Accessing the NTP Server is failing.
The Fault Relay is on.
Master of Super Ring has changed or backup path is activated.
Warning Event is sent when.....
The port is connected to another device
The port is disconnected (e.g. the cable is pulled out, or the
opposing devices turns down)
The link status changed.
Warning Event is sent when.....
The PoE port is powering.
