NetVision Overview
Locates all RocketLinx managed switches on the network interface.
Use this to turn on or off the LEDs on a RocketLinx. You can use this to locate a
RocketLinx unit without checking the IP or MAC addresses on the units.
Open the Web configuration GUI automatically.
Reboots the highlighted RocketLinx devices.
You can set the Discovery option for manual update (click the Discovery button)
or automatically update every xx seconds.
Exits NetVision.
This executes the IP address or netmask changes on the RocketLinx. See
Programming Network Information
Use this option to assign a range of IP addresses to multiple RocketLinx switches.
Creates a backup file for the highlighted RocketLinx.
Restores from a selected backup file.
Restores the RocketLinx with the default configuration file.
Uploads the firmware file that you have selected. The latest firmware file is
available on the Comtrol FTP site. New firmware may include bug fixes or new
features.
Uploads the Bootloader file that you have selected. The latest Bootloader file is
available on the Comtrol FTP site. A new Bootloader may include bug fixes or
new features.
Opens a window in the bottom of the NetVision pane.
Opens a separate window that you can save, if necessary.
Verifies SFP operation.
Performs a self test on the highlighted RocketLinx. You can review the results in
the log file.
