Feature Configuration
The following are useful commands to save you typing time in typing and to avoid typing errors.
? To see all of the available commands in this mode. It helps you to see the next command you can/should type as well.
Switch(config)# interface (?)
IFNAME
vlan
(Character)? To see all of the available commands starting with this character.
Switch(config)# a?
access-list
administrator
arp
Tab The tab key helps you to input the command quicker. If there is only one available command in the next, click the Tab
key to help finish the typing.
Switch# co (tab) (tab)
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# ac (tab)
Switch(config)# access-list
Ctrl+C To stop executing the unfinished command.
Ctrl+S To lock the screen of the terminal. You cannot input any command.
Ctrl+Q To unlock the screen which is locked by Ctrl+S.
Ctrl+Z To exit configuration mode.
An alert message appears when multiple users are attempting to configure the switch. If the administrator is in Configuration
mode, then the web users cannot change settings. The RocketLinx ES7506 allows only one administrator to configure the
switch at a time.
