Configuration Using the Command Line Interface (CLI)

Set the serial settings.

Press the Enter key in the Terminal window,

Test Terminal (WCom2)

Unzip Test Terminal and execute Wcom2.exe.

Select Open Port and click the appropriate COM name.

Click Settings, use the table (above), and then click Ok.

Press the Enter key in the Terminal window,
After it is connected, you can see the Switch login request.

Log in to the switch. The default user name is admin, password, admin.

If necessary, configure the IP address for your network. The following example shows how to program an IP address of
192.168.11.252 with a Class B subnet mask (255.255.0.0).
Switch> enable
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# int vlan1
Switch(config-if)# ip address 192.168.11.252/16
