portCfgNPort

Enables or disables N_Port functionality for an Access Gateway port.
Synopsis
portcfgnport [port_number | port_range] [mode]
Description
Use this command to enable or disable N_Port functionality for an Access Gateway port. The
enabled N_Port automatically comes online if it is connected to an enterprise fabric switch that
supports NPIV
Notes
NPIV capability should be enabled on the ports connected to the Access Gateway. Use
portcfgnpivport to enable NPIV capability on the specific port. By default, NPIV is enabled by default
on all 4 G and 8 G platforms.
The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may
be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command
Availability" for details.

Specifies the range of ports port1-port2 to enable or disable as N_Port
Displays the current Access Gateway setting for the switch. The default value
for mode is 0 (disabled) and 1 (enabled).
