Replacing the Control Panel (Intel
SR2625UR only)
The steps for replacing the standard control panel and the Intel
®
Intel Server System SR2625UR are nearly identical. Use the following steps for both
varieties of the control panel. Where necessary, differences between the two control
panels are noted.
Your server must be operated with a control panel installed.
Caution: The control panel is NOT hot-swappable. Before removing or replacing the control panel,
you must first take the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to
the system, turn off the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the AC power
cord from the system or wall outlet.
To replace the control panel, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the two cables from the back side of the backplane.
2. Press the latch at the back of the control panel and push it forward to release it from
the system (see letter "A" in
