Note: You will not use the short SATA cable from the 6th HDD kit in a system with a passive
midplane.

Installing the 2.5 Inch Fixed Hard Disk Drives

To install the 2.5 inch fixed hard disk drives into Intel
SR2625UR, your system must meet the following requirements:

You must purchase the 2.5 inch fixed hard disk drive kit, order number
ASR2600FXDRV.
•
You must purchasetwo 2.5 hard disk drives.
•
You must have an add-in card that supports the 2.5 inch hard disk drives.
After purchasing the 2.5 inch fixed hard disk drive kit and the 2.5 inch hard disk drives,
use the following instructions to install the 2.5 inch drives. In addition to these
instructions, refer to the instructions that came with your 2.5 inch drives for additional
requirements.
