An IP addressing scheme in which a single IP address is used to designate multiple unique IP
addresses. A CIDR address includes an IP address and an IP network prefix.

Proxy or Proxy Server is a technique used to cache information on a Web server and acts as
an intermediary between a Web client and that Web server. This proxy holds the most
commonly and recently used content from the World Wide Web to provide quicker access to
content for users and to increase server security.
Support for interdomain routing, regardless of the size or class of the network. Network
addresses are divided into three classes, but these are transparent in BGP, giving the network
greater flexibility.

device can connect to NSM.
