Inverter Only Configuration
Wires N1 and N2 (Utility) are monitored by the Inverter
through the ATS controller via the ATS CAT5 wire to the
ATS connection in the inverter. This is utility sensing volt-
age to the inverter. N1 and N2 voltage is used by the
inverter as follows. If Utility source voltage drops below a
preset level, circuit board logic will initiate automatic
transfer to the standby source.

Terminals 0, 194, and 23

These terminals connect to the transfer relay and inter-
nally to the load management portion of the ATS PWR-
cell Controller (if equipped).
Generator Only Configuration
These are the dedicated terminals from the ATS control-
ler external connections (bottom left) through the on-site
harness to the generators customer connection deck.
Inverter Only Configuration
These circuits are internal to the ATS controller and are
connected to the inverter via the ATS CAT5 cable from
the ATS controller to the inverters ATS connection.

Load T1

Wire T1 is connected with an identically labeled terminal
in the generator customer connection area. This Load
voltage is delivered to the generator to supply 120 VAC to
the control board for battery charging.
NOTE: The T1 connection is not utilized in the Inverter
Only Configuration.
Fuses
Fuses F1 and F2
Fuses F1 and F2 protect the Utility N1 and Utility N2 cir-
cuit against overload.
NOTE: These fuses only protect the circuit going to the
generator.
Fuse F3
Fuse F3 is installed in-line with Wire T1. It protects the
battery charger circuit from overload.
NOTE: This fuse only protect the circuit going to the
generator.

ATS CAT5 Connection

The ATS controller CAT5 connection uses the RJ45 EIA/
TIA 568B Wiring Standard.
