Appendix E State and Event Codes
Battery Events
When the battery experiences an event, or a sequence of events, it will change states accordingly. Display texts for
events are transient. Display texts can be viewed at the battery device page only at the time the event is experienced.
Refer to battery states table for troubleshooting.
To view the last known event, logon to the Installer Configuration Tool by accessing the local Wi-Fi signal from the
Generac REbus Beacon. Navigate to 'Battery' then select 'REbus Status.'
Faults: Low = low impact to performance, the device will recover; Med = noticeable impact to performance but still
recoverable; High = high impact to performance or could render device inoperable - device will try to recover.
Errors: Requires manual intervention before device can operate.

Normal B-Link microprocessor reset
Fault B-Link is in undefined state/misconfigured state
(High)
Normal B-Link powered up
Fault Power supply measurements were out of range. B- Link will wait for valid power
(Med) supply voltage to operate.
Normal Daily event code to show the battery is still communicating
Normal B-Link received firmware update
Normal B-Link was enabled
Normal B-Link was disabled
Normal B-Link external E-stop was activated
Normal B-Link sysmode change
Fault B-Link lost the heartbeat and will not move power until it returns

Fault B-Link current sysmode is invalid

Fault The hardware version in configuration does not match with the hardware version
(High) of device firmware.
Fault False positives may be associated with turning the battery disconnect switch off

Fault The B-Link measured a high temperature

Fault The B-Link fan has failed to operate when it should
