Inverter Events
When the inverter experiences an event, or a sequence of events, it will change states accordingly. Display texts for
events are transient. Display texts can be viewed at the inverter device page only at the time the event is experienced.
Refer to inverter states table for troubleshooting.
To view the last known event, logon to the Installer Configuration Tool by accessing the local Wi-Fi signal from the
Generac REbus Beacon. Navigate to 'Inverter' then select 'REbus Status.' To view the last four events, select 'Inverter
Split Phase' and reference event codes.
Faults: Low = low impact to performance, device will recover; Med = noticeable impact to performance but still
recoverable; High = high impact to performance or could render device inoperable - device will try to recover.
Errors: Requires manual intervention before device can operate.

Diagnostic Repair Manual
Table F-2. Inverter Events
Severity
Description
Normal
Successful internal voltage power on
Fault (High)
Internal supply voltage issue. Expected during a power
cycle. Fault if it occurs during operation.
Normal
Daily event code/ daily check-in
Normal
Remote firmware update received
Normal
CT calibration was manually requested- refer to inverter
manual for CT calibration table.
Fault (Low)
CT calibration failed due to disconnected or broken CT
Normal
Inverter received enable command
Normal
Inverter received disable command
Normal
ESTOP was activated and system shut down
Normal
System operating mode was changed
Fault (Low)
Device was asked to change to a system operating mode
that may have been locked to the user
Error
Hardware version does not match firmware. Contact
PWRcell Technical Support.
Error
Attempt to power cycle the inverter. If persistent, contact
PWRcell Technical Support.
Error
Internal processor issue. Contact PWRcell Technical
Support.
Error
Internal processor issue. Contact PWRcell Technical
Support.
Fault (High)
The inverter was backfeeding the grid on Line 1. The
hardware could be damaged, or the configuration of the
system is wrong (has a transfer switch but not configured
for one).
Fault (High)
The inverter was backfeeding the grid on Line 2. The
hardware could be damaged, or the configuration of the
system is wrong (has a transfer switch but not configured
for one).
Fault (Low)
The grid frequency went out of spec while the inverter was
trying to drive the relays inactive, this can happen with grid
outages.
