Device Profile

The Generac PWRcell Battery is a DC-coupled lithium-ion battery system. The Battery Management Unit (BMU)
provides the interface between the battery modules and REbus, moving power to and from the battery modules
depending on the selected system mode, the available solar power, and the AC load demand at the inverter. In the
event of a grid outage, the battery will maintain the DC bus and provide backup power to the inverter while continuing
to be able to charge from available solar energy.
