Low Sun (with no SnapRS installed)
Low Sun is not a fault or an error; it is a PV Link status.
PV Links will enter this state every night when the sun
goes down. Specifically, 'low sun' means there is not
adequate input voltage to the PV Link. If PV Link says,
'low sun' when the sun is shining, do the following:
1. PV Panel Configurations
a. Ensure the configuration of panels connected
to the PV Link do not require PV Link settings
to be changed.
2. PV Link Settings
a. If 4 or fewer 60 cell type solar panels,
determine whether Vin Startup value should be
lowered.
3. Measure Substring Voltage
a. Disable the PV Link from the inverter screen.
b. Unplug PV input +/- from the PV Link and use

c. If voltage does not match the expected Voc of
the substring, inspect PV wiring.
4. PV Wiring
a. Low sun is either a settings issue or a PV
wiring issue; it is not an issue with REbus
wiring.
b. Check for loose connections, faulty MC4
crimps, or strained wiring management.
Low Sun (with SnapRS installed)
See above description for 'low sun'. For installations
where SnapRS devices are installed on the substring and
the 'low sun' message appears with the sun shining, do
