discharge of the battery to below 95% before verifying
battery charging.
•
Verify discharging:
– With battery enabled, from inverter main page,
change system mode to Sell.
– Verify that battery status changes to 'discharging'
and the battery power reading is positive.
– If PV Links are generating enough power from
PV to max out the inverter, it will be necessary to
disable one or two PV Links before the battery
will discharge in Sell Mode.
NOTE: The battery will not discharge if the module state
of charge is below the MinSoCRsrv setting (default 30%).
In this case first verify successful charging of the battery
to 5% above the min setting before verifying battery
charging.
NOTE: In cases where exporting to the grid is prohibited,
turn on as many AC loads as possible to provide a path
of discharge for the battery.
13. Temperature Check
NOTE: Battery modules will only charge and discharge
within a certain temperature range. If the module
temperature is too high or too low, charging may be
limited or not allowed at all. See Battery Module Data
Sheets for specific battery module installed.
