2. Check Inverter Settings
a. If 'NumTranSwtchs' is set to a value other than
'0' without an external transfer switch correctly
installed, the inverter may not correctly
recognize the grid.
(1) If external transfer switch is installed,
check ATS CAT5 cable.
Stuck in Shutdown Mode
1. Check the 'STOP' terminals to verify the presence
of a jumper between the two terminals.
2. Verify a field-installed external shutdown switch is
in the 'closed' position (for a common residential
light switch this would be the ON position).
3. Use the center button and follow directions on the
inverter screen to recover from Shutdown mode.
NOTE: If site has more than one inverter, system may be
stuck in shutdown mode due to crosstalk. See
Cross-talk Recovery Procedure
Inverter.
4. If unable to recover, Call Generac PWRcell
Technical Support 855-635-5186.
Unknown Devices 'Offline'
1. Log into the Beacon Installer Configuration Tool.
a. Select 'Inverter'.
b. Select 'PWRcell Configuration'.
c. Select 'Clear Display'.
d. Click 'Submit'.
e. Inverter screen should blank out, pixilate, and
test its LEDs. Try again if this does not happen.
f.
Wait for screen to re-boot then scroll through
device pages. Unknown devices should be
cleared.
