Insert the cartridge heater into the source block, and then, using the wrench, tighten the
two screws to secure it.

Fit the source voltage cable to its connector, and then, using the wrench, tighten the screw
to secure it.
5.
Holding the PCB holder assembly, wrap the cable around the lens holder; push the cable
into the two cable grips.
6.
Push the PCB holder onto the three pins on the lens holder.
7.
Using the wrench, fit and tighten the screw to secure the PCB holder to the lens holder.
8.
Using the wrench, fit and tighten the two cable grip screws.

To fit the outer source assembly to the instrument, see
the
instrument.

4.10 Replacing the reference gas ampule

Replace the reference gas ampule when any of the following conditions apply:
• When the ampule is empty.
• When you switch between perfluorotributylamine (PFTBA) and non-PFTBA reference gases.
Required materials
• Chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves
• Protective eyewear
• Replacement reference gas ampule
