Replace the inner source assembly filament when either of the following conditions apply:
• If there is no ion beam, and the readbacks for emission current and filament current are 0, a
damaged filament is usually the cause.
• Poor sensitivity indicates that the filament may be old and inefficient.

• Chemical-resistant, powder-free gloves
