4.14.2 Adjusting the material guide
A hinged guide can be used to ensure that the sewing material is
fed correctly to the cutting knife.

Switching the guide on and off
You can use the operating lever to lower the guide into the bottom
position separately from the cutting knife holder,
Setting
1.
With the cutting knife lowered, slightly loosen the screw (2)
and use the hexagonal wrench (7) to turn the screw (3) until
you have reached the desired lateral position of the guide (6)
relative to the cutting knife.
2.
It is necessary at the same time to adjust the guide (6) in
sewing direction by turning the lever (1).
3.
Turn the adjusting screw (8) to set the guide to the proper height
above the throat plate.
4.
Once the wire has been adjusted, tighten the fastening screw (2).
