Critical Callback

This section describes the critical callback feature. This feature requires that action ranges are defined in
the Analyte Settings Category.

Select this check box to enable the Critical Callback documentation
feature.
Mandatory with Override
Mandatory
Operator enters the patient's last name for confirmation when a
critical callback is read to the caregiver. Refer to the options below.
If Positive Patient Identification (PPID) is enabled, this information is
automatically populated.
Select this check box to enable comments. If comments are
enabled, select one of these options:

Determine the format used to enter data. Select either:
Numeric Only
Alphanumeric
Determine how the data will be entered into the i‑STAT Alinity instrument. Select
one of the following:
Allow Scan and Manual Entry
Scan Only
Manual Entry Only
Minimum Length
Prompt the operator for a
mandatory entry. If the override
feature is chosen by the operator
no further action is required and
the instrument will advance to
the next screen.
Prompt the operator for a
mandatory entry. Cartridge
testing cannot continue until
information is entered.
Comment is optional.
Comment is required.
Data will be entered only as numbers.
Data will be entered as either letters or
numbers.
Allow barcode scan or manual data entry.
Allow barcode scan data entry only.
Allow manual data entry only.
Enter the minimum data characters
allowed.
