Verify the Rear I/O Module

1.
Ensure that you have completed the following:
Applied power to the server.
See
"Connect Power Cords" on page
Started the system.
See
"Power On the Server (Oracle ILOM)" on page
2.
Verify that the System Service Required LED on the rear I/O module is not lit.

3.
Log in to Oracle ILOM.

"Log In to Oracle ILOM (Service)" on page
4.
Start the faultmagmt shell.
-> start SP/faultmgmt/shell
Are you sure you want to start the faultmgmt shell (y/n)? y

Use the fmadm faulty command to determine if the server is operating normally.
If a fault was detected, see
If no faults were detected, then the rear I/O module has been replaced successfully. No
