If the Objet500 3D printing system is not used as specified in this guide,
the safety features may not provide adequate protection.

Symbols and Warning Labels

This following table lists the warning labels located on or in Objet500
printers.
Warning Symbol
DOC-07027 Rev. E
The chassis of the printer is grounded, to prevent electrical
shock.
Note: The power outlet must be properly grounded, in
accordance with the local electric code, to provide this
protection.
Meaning Location
Hazard (general) On the name plate on the
back of the printer.
Hot surface On the print block.
High voltage Near the UV lamp
connectors.
Near the power-supply
enclosures.
Ultraviolet Near the UV lamps.

Moving parts On the panel that is
visible when you open
the front doors of the
printer.
