"Digital input 1" ... "Digital input 4" submenus
The Digital input 1 to Digital input 4 submenus are used to configure the DI blocks of the
device.
Setup ® Advanced setup ® Digital input 1...4 ® Channel
Diagnostics ® Measured value ® Digital input 1...4 ® Channel
Allocates a switching variable to the DI block.
• None
• Switch output
The DI block tracks the behavior of the switch output.
None
If Switch output is selected, the digital output value tracks the state of the switch outut:
• Switch output open: 0
• Switch output closed: 1
This allocation can be inverted by the Invert parameter.
Setup ® Advanced setup ® Digital input 1...4 ® Invert
Allows to invert the digital output signal (i.e. to swap the states "0" and "1").
• Off
• On
Off (i.e. no inversion)
Setup ® Advanced setup ® Digital input 1...4 ® Fail safe type
Defines the output value of the DI block in case of an error.
• Fail safe value
The oputput value in case of an error is define in the Fail safe value parameter.
• Failback value
The last valid output value before the error occurred is maintained.
• Off
The output value tracks the current measuring value. The status is set to BAD.
