• Strong
The evaluated echo exceeds the threshold by at least 10 mV
• Medium
The evaluated echo exceeds the threshold by at least 5 mV.
• Weak
The evaluated echo exceeds the threshold by less than 5 mV.
• No signal
The device does not find a usable echo and generates the following error message
– F941 if the Alarm option has been selected in the Output echo lost parameter (® ä 142).
– S941 if another option has been selected in the Output echo lost parameter (® ä 142).
The signal quality indicated in this parameter always refers to the currently evaluated echo: either
1)
the level/interface echo
quality of the end-of-probe echo is always displayed in brackets.
Setup ® Device address
Depending on the addressing mode:
• For software addressing(® ä 75):
Writable parameter; defines the bus address of the device
• For hardware addressing(® ä 75):
Read-only parameter; displays the bus address set by the address switches.
