Installing motor, toothed belt and belt
pulley
Smooth dents in the shafts [318arrow] with an oils-
tone as necessary.
Loosely pre-mount the motor, do not yet fully tighten
the 4 screws on the motor mount [319A].
Unscrew setscrews from belt pulley [320E] and mo-
tor pinion [319C]. Clean threads and screw
setscrews back in with Loctite 243 Threadlock. Ins-
tall the motor pinion, toothed belt and belt pulley be-
fore the threadlock hardens.
Installing motor pinion:
Slide the motor pinion to the marked position on the
motor shaft.
Turn the motor pinion until the setscrew [318B] lines
up with the bevel in the motor shaft [318Arrow].
Tighten setscrew.
Installing toothed belt and pulley
Place the toothed belt [320B] over the motor pinion
[320A]. Slide belt pulley [320E] onto dancer arm
shaft and pull belt onto belt pulley.
Turn the belt pulley in order to align one of the two
setscrews with the bevel in the dancer arm shaft
[320Arrow].
Aligning belt pulley and toothed belt with motor pini-
on: The toothed belt must run in the centre of the
belt pulley and motor pinion.
Tighten setscrew to bevel, then tighten second
setscrew.
Adjusting toothed belt tension:
Slide the motor [320D] until the toothed belt is taut.
Tighten 4 screws on the motor mount [320C].
Connect and install the motor driver board [320F].
Fasten motor lead to housing with the cable
fastening [320G].
Install casing rear wall.
