Communication and Time Sync Ports
Serial Port, RS-232 / RS-485
On the Serial Communications page of the Web browser, the serial port can be configured for either
RS-232 or RS-485 mode. The termination for the RS-485 mode is internal (via checkbox on Serial
Communications page).
RS-232 mode
The RS-232 connection is a standard DB-9 female connector. The port can be connected directly to
the DB-9 male (AT) connector on a PC. Use a straight cable.
