Assembling the Swing Axle

1.
Grease half the axle (the half that is not
machined down) and press in the guide
spindle from behind (see illustration).
2.
Fit the washer and circlip on the swing
axle at its inner fastening.
3.
Fit the dust shield (with the thin lip back)
approx. 2/3 into the axle and lubricate it
on both sides of the dust shield.
4.
Roll forward the rear frame and press it
onto the swing axle.
5.
Fit the washer and circlip on the swing
axle (1).
6.
Connect the hydraulic lines under the machine.
7.
Fit the rear belt.
8.
Fit the hydrostatic fan.
9.
Fit the hydrostat cable. Check that it is
correctly adjusted, see "Hydrostat cable
adjustment".
10. Fit the idler spring.
11. Fill and bleed the hydraulic system. Top
up as necessary after the test drive.
12. Fit the transmission cover.

Drive Shafts

Observe cleanliness, follow the directions
under "Hydraulic system\Hydraulic hygiene".
Hold the coupling nut with a wrench when
loosening and tightening it so that the lines or
elbow nipples are not exerted to twisting
forces.

Front Axle

The tool frame must not be dismantled.

1.
Remove the cutting deck, see "Removing
the Cutting Deck".
2.
Raise and support the machine.
3.
Remove the front wheels.
