Steering servo and steering cables

replacing the Steering Cables

Loosen the rear fastening of the steering cables (1).
Remove the frame plate.
Loosen the steering cable front fastening (2) at the steering chain (3) and pull out the steering cables from
the frame.
Note. If the old cables are intact, the new cables can be fastened to the old ones when pulling them out of the
frame. The new cables will then automatically come into place.
The steering cable chain lock must be fitted with the lock spring up.
Hold the cables with e.g. an adjustable wrench so they do not twist.
Make sure the steering wheel is centered when the rear wheels are straight ahead. Reposition the chain on
the steering servo gear or change the steering cable rear fastening (1) if necessary.
Check the cable tension when new cables are fitted (see "Checking and adjusting the steering cables").
