Raise and support the machine with the
wheels one side on the ground and the
wheels on the other side free. Make sure
the steering angle has not changed.

Mark the free rolling wheels with
reflective tape or equivalent.
5.
Think of the exhaust risk. Start the engine
and allow it to warm up at full speed until
the wheel speed has become stable.
Check with a tachometer.

Make sure the steering angle does not
change during the following test.
Measure and note the rpm of the rear
wheel at full speed. Then measure the
speed of the front wheel, it should be
between 0-5% lower than the rear wheel
speed.
7.
Turn o the engine.
8.
Adjust the rotation speed of the wheels
with the adjusting rod. First loosen
the lock nuts.
A longer rod gives the front wheels a
higher speed.
A shorter rod gives the rear wheels a
higher speed.
9.
At the same steering angle as before,
check that the adjustment has given the
desired result. If not, repeat the process
from marking the wheels.
10. Tighten the adjusting rod lock nuts when
finished adjusting.
